Hurdville Community Hall

A Gathering Place for Your Community

Hurdville is a small community straddling the borders of McKellar and McDougall Townships in the District of West Parry Sound, Ontario. It nestles at the point where the Seguin River is spanned by a flood control dam controlling the water levels in Lake Manitouwabing. The Hurdville Hall, a community gathering place, is now maintained by the Hurdville  Community Club. The Club is a group of local residents committed to maintaining this last remaining one room school building in the McKellar Community. This provides a place for the community to gather and for groups to meet. The Hurdville Community Club is dedicated to bettering the Hurdville Comminity and fostering goodwill, fellowship and friendships.

We look forward to seeing you Thanksgiving Weekend as we again serve our famous John's Hurdville pancakes. We make them from scratch never varying from John's original recipe. Always lots - we have yet to run out - we served over 400 at the McKellar Heritage Regatta and had enough supplies to feed over 100 more! Along with the pancakes we serve the popular Three Rivers Old Fashioned Pork Breakfast Sausage - gluten and sugar free - (Costco $13.99 for 4 doz). We never change our brand.  You will also enjoy this season's Maple Syrup prepared in the traditional Mennonite way. And don't forget our Community Yard Sale - our patrons your saleables - just bring your merchandise along and give us $10 for using our space.
